We’re having a club night out next Monday 22nd December from 8pm in The Sportsman Bar and everyone is very welcome, players, parents, coaches, supporters and friends of the club.

On the night we’ll be pulling the winners of our Christmas Draw, which is helping us cover the extra cost of running a generator for the new Astro floodlights while we wait on ESB to deliver three-phase power.

We’ll also be closing the auction for the signed Republic of Ireland jersey on the night. The current top bid stands at €320, so there’s still time to get involved before it’s gone. If Ireland make it to the World Cup next summer, it definitely will be a brilliant keepsake. And following on from our Christmas Jumper training week in support of the Jack and Jill Foundation, where €2 was collected at training, we’ll be finalising our donation on the night. It was a brilliant initiative, the funds raised will help support over 50 families here in Cork. 

Hope to see a good crowd on the night, it’ll be a good chance to catch up, have a bit of craic and support the club after a busy few months. Thanks as always to everyone who has bought tickets and helped out, it really is appreciated.
